BUFFALO, N. Aldrick Robinson Jersey .Y. —Bills rookie
cornerback Ron Brooks will miss at least eight weeks after being placed on a
short-term injured reserve list, and the team also re-signed receiver
Ruvell Martin on Tuesday. Brooks, who had surgery to repair a broken foot last
week, will be eligible to return this season after being placed him on the NFLs
newly created IR/designated for return list. That means, Brooks can return to
practice in six weeks, and could be activated after eight weeks. He was the
second of Buffalos two fourth-round picks out of LSU. Martin was signed to fill
the roster spot in returning to Buffalo four days after being among the teams
final cuts. Hes a six-year NFL veteran, who appeared in 14 games with the Bills
last season. Martin is both familiar with the offence, and his addition
particularly bolsters the Bills depth at the position in preparing to open their
season at the new York Jets on Sunday. Buffalo was down to four healthy
receivers because Brad Smiths status is uncertain after her hurt his groin last
week. Earlier in the day, the Bills filled out their eight-player practice squad
by signing defensive tackle Jay Ross. He returns to Buffalo after being released
by the team on Aug. 26. Ross also spent the final 10 weeks of last season on
Buffalos practice squad. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 319 pounds, Ross played college
at East Carolina. He entered the NFL in 2010, when he signed with New Orleans as
an undrafted free agent. After being cut by the Saints before the season began,
Ross then spent a portion of the year on Green Bays practice squad. Ryan Kerrigan Jersey . Balls regularly clear
