I would love to see in the works some modules for controlling robot servos. The easiest would most likely be a module to control standard servos – PWM based. Here is an example board (check out the SSC-32 board from Lynxmotion : – I’d love to see a module that can snap in and provide servo control similar to this |

i would like to second this suggestion. you could market it to the robot kit segment with a module like that |

I think it’s a great idea. Something with at least 8 PWM outputs would be great. But for now you can drive Servo’s from the Bug using software (eek i know). I wrote a quick app to do it and posted it here http://bug.cmw.me/?q=node/15 i also put up a video showing it in action. Something else to consider is that i built a very simple module using a PCA9550 (I2C ->PWM) chip. These are very cheap and are very easy to use. Check out http://www.nxp.com/acrobat/datasheets/PCA9550_5… if you are interested and you can also see the video of mine here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piGVQeSmdS8 \cmw |

I third the motion for a servo controller module. Also, some sort of connection for sensors would be awesome too! |
