While the initial base & modules (especially the teleporter :) ) will keep people busy for some time, I foresee users wanting the ability to mass-link bugbases. This would increase the performance through parallel processing. Who knows, maybe this would even make supercomputers obsolete.. hehe

Ondego – we think the same way! We have some ideas for how to do this and it’s definitely on the roadmap.

That said, if anyone wants to make specific suggestions for how they’d like to see this happen, let’s use this forum.

I’ve actually been thinking about this problem :) I think the first thing to do is to have a standard "box" – maybe start with one that is large enough to house two bug bases (with connectors for the module ports). The surface area of such a box would be large enough for 8 module ports, easy.

Another way (which I prefer, as a MPP/PVP man) is to use a conveniently wrapped messaging protocol – something along the lines of the MUSCLE framework from lcscanada…
