I am able to start and connect to the x11vnc server with it running in the background. I would like to have this start up automatically during boot time. I have tried the normal daemon script method and in the x11 startup but nothing seems to work. Has anyone had success doing this? |

Hey John, I had some success trying this:

x11vnc -display :0 -forever -http -o /var/log/x11vnc.log -loop &
in a chmodded 755 /etc/X11/Xsession.d/72×11vnc You may want to put some kill pidof x11vnc logic in there though, as this will spawn multiple instances if you just /etc/init.d/xserver-nodm restart (the script doesn’t tidy up after itself).
