I had successfully configured my BugBase to connect via WiFi, but now it seems to boot with all network adapters disabled or inactive.  If I run ifconfig, nothing at all is returned.  If I restart networking by manually running /etc/init.d/networking restart, then the loopback and wlan0 adapters startup successfully as expected.

Any suggestions?

I had the same issue. I created a script that would just run/etc/init.d/networking restart on boot. Not sure if this is the best solution but it did fix the problem.
