Ok, I don’t have a LCD module, so I can’t use the UI to configure my wireless AP. So, I got the USB connection configured, no problems. When I got to step 5, stopping connman, it would kill the connection over USB. I couldn’t get a reconnect unless I restarted the bug, so I would, but that restarted connman. At this point, I rm the symlink for connman. However, I still couldn’t get the connection to work. Tried reverting the /etc/network/interfaces file back to any and removing the protection from my AP, but no glory. Also, eth1 doesn’t show up in the IPAddress menu node. |

Ok, so I tried to salvage what I had, and it didn’t work. So I went and downloaded 1.4.3 since I didn’t have it already anyways, and everything worked just fine. I booted up, went into the IPAddress menu node and it still only shows usb0 and l0, nothing else….what am I missing here? |

Yeah it looks like there is a defect in that IPAddress menu node, where in R1.4.3 the java framework (concierge) starts before the network interfaces are entirely initialized. This can happen if it takes some time to pull an IP from the dhcp server. If you restart concierge, you will see all of the interfaces listed. |
