I figure a topic devoted topic devoted to MMC/SD compatibility might be useful. Post if you have tried any non-original MMC/SD cards, and let the community know if they work or not.

A quick question for Bug Labs. Does the BUGbase support microSDHC?

Yes it does support SDHC. Currently i have tried Kingston and a few generic brands and haven’t had any compatibility issues.

What limits might there be for the SD card’s capacity?  I’m wondering how much space is left after all the system files for things like MP3, images or video and whether a card bigger than 2G would be needed or usable.

The BUG root filesystem is a little under 150MB, leaving most of the SD card available for your apps’ data.

Thanks for the info, looks like there’s a fair bit of storage left on the card.  Any idea if there is a limit to the capcity of the card that can be used with the BUGbase?

I believe that the highest capacity for SDHC is 32GB.  I believe that these should work with BUG, however, I don’t think w
