Using the on board speaker you can play MP3’s via the bug_audio module. You won’t be DJ’ing parties with it but it’s still fun to see.

I built mpg123 and included a sample mp3 in the binary package.
Download the package from http://bug.cmw.me/mpg-bugr14.tar.bz2 and transfer it to the Bug Base. Then just extract the files into / and modprobe bug_audio.

To play the example type
mpg123 -a /dev/audio /home/root/Jingle_Bells.mp3
