have claimed cornerback Jerome Murphy off of waivers from the St. Louis Rams and
have released cornerback Elbert Mack. Murphy, whose acquisition was announced
Sunday, was selected by the Rams out of South Florida in the third round of the

broken ankle. In his rookie season, Murphy was credited with 30 total tackles

recovery. He sought to come back this season with the Rams, who cut him at the
end of the preseason. Mack is a fifth-year cornerback signed by New Orleans

through 40 minutes. Murphy and Trojanovic, both defencemen, connected about five
minutes apart in the first half of the third period and neither team could score
again until the extra frame. Kingston went 1-for-6 on the power play and
Peterborough was scoreless in six man advantages. The winning shot edged the
