TSN and Kraft Canada are about to get rolling on Canadas biggest celebration of
community pride: the fourth-annual Kraft Celebration Tour. Andre Johnson Womens Jersey . From Friday,
August 17 to Sunday, August 26, the tour will visit this years 10 winning
communities, bringing with it Canadas most-watched sports news program,
SPORTSCENTRE on TSN, and plenty of family fun. As part of the Kraft Celebration
Tour, Kraft Canada will award each winning community $25,000 for improvements to
a local recreation facility in the prize-winning area in recognition of the
strong social ties it helps to create and the healthy, active living it helps to
promote. “The passion and enthusiasm on display from Canadians for the Kraft
Celebration Tour are nothing short of incredible,” said Jack Hewitt,
Vice-President of Marketing Services, Kraft Canada. “It is amazing to see such
enormous hometown pride from cities and towns across the country. Were proud to
recognize the 10 winning communities for their efforts and we cant wait to
celebrate with them. This years Kraft Celebration Tour begins in Creston, B.C.,
with anchors Darren Dutchyshen and Kate Beirness hosting SPORTSCENTRE live from
the Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia on Friday, August 17 at 6
p.m. ET on TSN. The following evening, SPORTSCENTRE touches down in Clarenville,
NL, as anchors Jay Onrait and Dan OToole broadcast live from Newfoundlands east
coast on Saturday, August 18 at 6 p.m. ET on TSN. “Without a doubt, its an
honour for all of us to be a part of the Kraft Celebration Tour each year. The
people we meet on the road are just awesome and their dedication to their
community through grassroots sports is truly inspiring,” said Dutchyshen. “This
is my fourth straight year on the tour and Im really looking forward to visiting
more of our amazing country and bringing SPORTSCENTRE to my hometown of
Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan.” Dutchyshen and Beirness host SPORTSCENTRE from
all winning communities in Western Canada, starting in Creston and including
Cochrane, AB, Porcupine Plain, SK, Manitou, MB, and New Liskeard, ON. In
Eastern Canada, Onrait and OToole bring TSNs flagship daily sportscast to
Clarenville, Pugwash, NS, Bathurst, NB, Chicoutimi, QC, and Trenton, ON. In
addition, RDS anchors François-Etienne Corbin, Alain “Le Baron” Chantelois,
Valérie Sardin and Geneviève Langlois join the Kraft Celebration Tour
festivities in Quebec, as they host a live broadcast of top-rated SPORTS 30 from
Chicoutimi. Last month, more than 4 million votes were recorded by Canadians
from across the country to determine the 10 winning communities for this years
