I am thinking about getting the bug and was wondering if you can run an app of a micro memory card? Or better what can you do with a Micro memory card and the bug? I assume read/write data but what else?

The whole file system is on the card, i.e. kernel on up. So if you pull the MMC card out and swap a new one in you have a completely fresh system. Thus you can have various cards for different configurations. Though not necessary it would allow you to say have a card for testing new things out, and a card that was set for everyday use. Then tanking the testing version wouldn’t stop you from using the BUG for critical applications, just swap your cards back and you are good to go.
