In the "Modules suggestions" vein, lets start another thread.

What applications would you like to see?

I’m not really a twitter user, but I feel like a Twitter/GPS mash up would be easy because of Twitter’s open API and also useful. For example a "What to meet for lunch" tweet with embedded location could be sent out and then your BUG could give you directions to get there.

Did you see http://buglabs.net/applications/davidbalbert/TwitterBug?

David mentions "Use BUGlocate to do some kind of geo-tweeting. Perhaps an "I am here" tweet with a link to google maps." in his future plans for it.

Nice, guess I should cross that one off the list then.

KSchultz – TwitterBug’s author will be interning with us this summer – I’m sure you two will come up with some cool new stuff.

Kevin,

We had a brainstorming session, bummer you missed it! I am sure we will have many more. Peter had asked each of us to come to the meeting with two app ideas. One of my ideas that I would even pay a Developer to write for me (hint, hint)... is for cooking. We would however need a UPC module first.

I would like the ability to scan food going in and out of my pantry and with this data do the following but not limited to:

-know what items I need at the grocery store
-scan a recipe and know what items I am missing
-set parameters and example, when I am out of bread, juice and milk a replenish order is sent to Fresh Direct
-request recipes based on my current pantry inventory

A lot of awesome ideas came out of the meeting but I am sure you saw the list!

See you in the office soon.
Cheers,
Heather
