ORCHARD PARK, N. Reggie Bush White Jersey .Y. —Buffalo Bills
defensive end Mario Williams has a new home, and at least 53 new fans. By
closing on a $2 million deal to purchase a mansion in suburban Buffalo, the
Bills high-priced free-agent addition is also helping a group of creditors
recoup a portion of the $3.1 million they were cheated out of by the homes
former owner. “It was a windfall,” said William F. Savino. Hes a Buffalo-based
attorney representing 53 people who had their money taken by former personal
injury lawyer Kenneth Bernas, who was convicted in 2010 of larceny and identity
theft. Bernas, who has been disbarred and is serving a 2 1/3- to seven-year jail
sentence, used some of the money he stole to build the five-bedroom, 9,000-plus
square-foot, four-car garage home in 2005. Hes been ordered to repay $1.8
million. Savino said his clients will get close to $500,000 from Williams
purchase, with the rest of the money going toward the mortgage and other fees.
The Buffalo News first reported Williams purchase earlier this week. Williams
targeted buying the mansion shortly after signing a six-year contract
potentially worth $100 million with the Bills in free agency in March. Hes one
of the NFLs premier pass-rushing specialists, and spent his first six seasons
with the Houston Texans, who selected Williams with the No. 1 pick in the 2006
draft. Its unclear whether Williams was familiar with homes former owners legal
troubles, but he was aware that he was purchasing the home out of receivership.
Williams wasnt available for comment on his new home, but had said earlier this
week that he was in the process of completing a purchase and planning to move in
before the start of training camp, which opens at the end of next month. State
judge John Michalek was credited by Savino for speeding up the process to meet a
deadline set by Williams. The home, set on a five-acre lot, is not far from the
Bills facility and cost nearly $4 million to build. Williams was so interested
in buying the property that he exceeded the $1.99 million asking price to beat
out several other offers. Williams is an avid outdoorsman and also owns homes in
Houston and his native North Carolina. “I didnt know that anything like this
would happen until I got a call that Mario had an interest in the mansion,”
Savino said. “Its good news for the victims. They didnt deserve this from
someone they trusted.” The proceeds from the sale means the victims will have
been repaid nearly $1 million, Savino said. And that doesnt include the $1
million the victims received from the New York State Lawyers Fund for Client
Protection. Brian Hartline Jersey . When the

medals and two Jack Adams trophys as the NHLs top coach. Ryan Tannehill Pink Jersey . Triathlon Canada
announced the three athletes to complete the team Tuesday. Whitfield, an Olympic

and James were teammates and turned the tables, sending the Celtics into the
off-season. Here comes the tiebreaker.DAVIE, Fla. —Chad Johnson briefly
lobbied in vain to keep his job when he was cut by Miami Dolphins coach Joe
Philbin. The six-time Pro Bowl receiver failed to make the case, and after
bidding Philbin farewell with a handshake, he walked out of the Dolphins complex
for good. The scene was captured on the latest episode of HBOs “Hard Knocks,”
which is chronicling the Dolphins preseason. They terminated Johnsons contract
Sunday night, about 24 hours after he was arrested in a domestic battery case
involving his wife, Evelyn Lozada. She subsequently announced plans to file for
divorce, ending their marriage after barely a month. Johnson met with Philbin in
the coachs office, and their conversation was brief. Johnson noted that he had
been scolded earlier by the coach for a profanity-laced session with reporters,
and had not done an interview since. “Coach, Ive never been in trouble before.
Ever,” said Johnson, who signed with the Dolphins in June. “And I buy into your
program, most definitely. BBecause after that talk we had, I was hushed from
that point on. Ryan Tannehill White Jersey. And I was going
stay that way the entire year.” Regarding his arrest, Johnson said: “I let you
down a little bit. A lot. I apologize for embarrassing you, and our
organization, my teammates.” But Philbins mind was made up. “Its not really just
(Saturday) night,” he said. “Its where we are as a program, and where you are,
and where were headed. I just dont see the mesh right now. ... “I just think its
best for both of us that we kind of part ways at this point in time. Its not
like Im trying to flex my muscle to say, Im the head coach, and lets make an
example of Chad Johnson. It has nothing to do with that. “Its more about how you
fit in, and how we fit in together, and where this thing is heading. I just dont
see it being where I thought it would be, or what I hoped it would be. Im sure
its not good news. Its not good news for us either. But Im certain you can
overcome this thing.” ’ ’ ’
