MILWAUKEE —Free agent centre Scott Wells is on his way out of Green Bay after
signing with the St. Clay Matthews White Jersey . Louis Rams.
Agent Brian Parker confirmed earlier reports that the longtime Packers starter
agreed to terms with the Rams after he visited the team on Friday, and the Rams
confirmed the deal Saturday night. Parker did not disclose terms of the deal.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the deal was for four years and $24
million with $13 million guaranteed. Incentives could drive the worth of the
deal up to $25.5 million. The Rams also signed defensive lineman
Kendall Langford, a four-year starter at end in the Dolphins 3-4 alignment wholl
play tackle with St. Louis. The Rams released tackles Fred Robbins and
Justin Bannan prior to free agency. Wells will give the Rams a veteran leader on
their offensive line, continuing their off-season makeover under new coach Jeff
Fisher. Wells departure leaves the Packers searching for a replacement, which
would likely come through free agency or the draft with no obvious candidate to
replace Wells currently on the teams roster. “Scott has played at a high level
for a long time and we feel fortunate that we were able to add him to our team,”
Fisher said. “Hes been a part of a program that has won a lot of football games.
Hes a leader, and were excited about what he brings both on and off the field.”
Wells has been the Packers most consistent offensive lineman the past two
seasons, and has played a critical role in dictating protections for
Aaron Rodgers in one of the leagues most productive offences. Rodgers and
Packers coach Mike McCarthy have routinely praised Wells play in recent years.
He turned 31 in January. Wells also visited the Tennessee Titans and drew
interest from several other teams. Its the continuation of a busy off-season for
the Rams, who hired Fisher, made a mega-deal to trade the No. 2 overall pick in
the draft to the Washington Redskins and signed cornerback Cortland Finnegan to
a five-year, $50 million deal. Wells, a seventh-round draft pick by the Packers
out of Tennessee in 2004, has started 100 regular-season games. The 6-6,
296-pound Langford, 26, made 54 starts in four seasons at Miami and has 7.5
career sacks and four forced fumbles. He was a third-round pick of the Dolphins
in 2008. “Kendall is a big, physical player who will be a great addition to our
defensive line,” Fisher said. “Hes tough and he always plays hard. Were excited
about what hell bring to the rotation up front.” With Wells leaving, the only
two centres on the Packers roster are Evan Dietrich-Smith, an interior lineman
who is best known for being on the receiving end of Ndamukong Suhs infamous
stomp on Thanksgiving, and inexperienced backup Sampson Genus. Free agent
options who may draw interest from the Packers include Indianapolis Colts
veteran Jeff Saturday; New England Patriots centre Dan Koppen, who is returning
from an injury; and Oakland Raiders free agent Samson Satele. Jermichael Finley Jersey .  Leblanc earned
Offensive Player of the Week honors after tying season highs for goals (four),
assists (five) and points (nine) to lead Toronto in scoring during its 19-12
loss to Colorado on Saturday. Casey Hayward Jersey . —The Chiefs

. The Vancouver Whitecaps fell to a fourth straight defeat on Saturday when they
were beaten by the L. Aaron Rodgers Pink Jersey . Drabek felt a
“popping sensation” in his elbow last week during an outing against the
Washington Nationals. Preliminary tests showed Drabek suffered a torn ulnar
collateral ligament (UCL) and a second opinion from Dr. Randall Cobb Jersey . Only goal difference is
keeping Tottenham behind second-place United while Citys lead is three points.
But while United has won a dozen English titles alone since 1993, City and
Tottenham have not been champions of England since the 1960s.CLEVELAND—
Jason Donald singled home the winning run with two outs in the 12th inning,
lifting the Cleveland Indians over the Chicago White Sox 4-3 on Tuesday night.
White Sox starter Jake Peavy took a one-hitter and a 3-1 lead into the ninth.
Michael Brantley led off with a single and pinch hitter Travis Hafner followed
with a tying homer. Lonnie Chisenhall doubled with one out in the Cleveland 12th
against Matt Thornton (4-10), who then intentionally walked Russ Canzler.
Right-hander Nate Jones came on to face announced pinch hitter Matt LaPorta, who
was then replaced by lefty swinging Jack Hannahan. Jones struck him out before
Donald hit a liner into the left-field corner. Chris Seddon (1-1) pitched a
scoreless 12h for the win, Clevelands seventh in 17 meetings with Chicago. It
was the left-handers first victory since July 24, 2010, when he was with
Seattle. Dayan Viciedo hit a two-run homer off Cleveland closer Chris Perez in
the ninth for a 3-1 lead. Hafner tied it with his 200th homer for Cleveland and
201st of his career. Until then, Peavy had allowed only Shin-Soo Choos 16th
homer leading off the fourth. Peavy walked one and struck out eight in what
could be his final game for the White Sox. His $22 million option for next
season almost certainly wont be picked up, but the right-hander has said hed
like to return. Viciedo connected for a 426-foot shot to centre for his 24th
homer—and fifth against the Indians this season. Viciedo is hitting .346 with
18 RBIs against Cleveland. Orlando Hudson singled for his third hit before
Viciedo delivered. After Perez gave up Viciedos homer, he yielded a one-out
single to Jordan Danks and then hit Tyler Flowers in the left hand with a pitch.
Flowers glared out at Perez and both benches were warned. After Perez retired
the side, he and Flowers met at the side of the mound. Chiicago scored in the
sixth off Indians starter Justin Masterson. Jordy Nelson White Jersey. Dewayne Wise hit a
one-out double and scored on Orlando Hudsons line single. Masterson struck out
five over six innings in his final start, failing to break his personal
three-game losing streak. The right-hander allowed one run, one walk and four
hits and finished with an 11-15 record and career-high 206 1-3 innings pitched.
Interim manager Sandy Alomar Jr. said before the game that Masterson has the
stuff to be a big winner, but remains too inconsistent. Alomar said that when
Masterson gets downward sink on his pitches rather than side-to-side movement,
he can be one of the most devastating pitchers in the game. He would like to see
Masterson work off his four-seam fastball a little more next season. NOTES: Fans
chanted “San-dy, San-dy,” when Alomar argued a close call at first base. Before
the game, Perez said while he respects Manny Acta, he had a problem with the
fired manager not confronting umpires. ... Chicago 1B Adam Dunn struck out twice
and has fanned 222 times, two shy of the major-league record set by
Mark Reynolds with Arizona in 2009. ... Chicago 1B Paul Konerko will have
surgery on his left wrist Thursday. Manager Robin Ventura said Konerko might
play in the season finale on Wednesday. ... The normally quiet Brantley got
quizzical looks from teammates before the game as he jogged around the Indians
clubhouse carrying a football and wearing a Browns helmet autographed by WR Josh
Cribbs and a signed RB Trent Richardson jersey. Nobody seemed to know why. ...
Hafner is scheduled to play in Wednesdays season finale, which could be his last
game in Cleveland uniform. The Indians almost assuredly will not pick up his $13
million option and give him a $2.7 buyout. “I want to play next year,” said
Hafner, 35, who has battled numerous injuries for five years. ’ ’ ’
