(Sports Network) – Toronto will continue a five-game road trip this evening as they visit the Grizzlies in Memphis. Terrell Suggs Jersey . The team fell to 1-1 on the trek following a 98-84 loss at New Jersey on Wednesday. Jerryd Bayless ended with 16 points and 10 assists, while James Johnson also netted 16 points and DeMar DeRozan added 12 points for the Raptors, who have lost five of eight games and was coming off a win at Cleveland. “The Nets outworked us. [Kris] Humphries had 21 rebounds. You have to be physical with him in the paint, and we didnt have that,” Raptors head coach Dwane Casey said. The Raptors shot 38.3 percent and got 11 points off the bench from Leandro Barbosa. Barbosa was then shipped to Indiana before the trade deadline for a second-round pick and cash. Toronto fell to 7-15 on the road this year and guard Jose Calderon missed his third straight game with a sprained right ankle. Calderon is questionable for tonight. Toronto will also visit the Bobcats and Knicks on the trip and has lost six in a row to the Grizzlies, including a recent 102-99 setback on March 2 at Air Canada Centre. Memphis has won 15 of the last 20 meetings between the teams and eight of 10 encounters on Beale Street. The Grizzlies didnt do much to bolster their roster before the NBAs trade deadline and look to get back on track when they resume their three-game homestand tonight versus the Raptors. Memphis did send swingman Sam Young to Philadelphia in exchange for the rights to forward Ricky Sanchez. Young played 21 games for the Grizzlies this season, averaging 3.5 points and 2.0 rebounds. Sanchez has yet to play an NBA game since being selected by Portland in the second round of the 2005 draft. The Grizzlies have lost two of three games since a five-game winning streak and opened the homestand with Tuesdays 116-111 double-overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Marreese Speights had 25 points to lead Memphis and Marc Gasol scored 20 with 11 rebounds. “We played a great game and we should have won the game,” Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins said. “We lost to a team that played better. Weve got to give them their due and weve just got to get ready to come back on Friday.” Mike Conley had 10 points and 11 assists, and has recorded multiple steals in a franchise-record and career-high 12 consecutive games. Hollins squad lost for only the third time in the past 13 games and will also host Washington on the residency. The Grizzlies are 15-6 at home and sit four games behind San Antonio for the Southwest lead. In injury news for Memphis, forward Rudy Gay (concussion) is probable for Friday and forward Zach Randolph (knee) is listed as questionable. Randolph hasnt played since Jan. 1 at Chicago due to an MCL tear in his right knee and is averaging 14.8 points ad 7.5 rebounds in four games this season. Ed Reed Jersey . He placed ninth with a total score of 458.55 for his efforts and easily progressed in the top-18. ATLANTA —Andy Roddick was hoping Nicolas Mahut would be the first to flinch in a first-set tiebreaker. It didnt take long for Roddick to get his wish. “He missed a pretty easy to ball in the tiebreaker to make it 3-all,” Roddick said. “From there, I played pretty solid.” Roddick beat the Frenchman 7-6 (4), 6-3 in the second round of the Atlanta Open on Wednesday night after rain delayed the tournament 4 1/2 hours. Roddick, who will play Michael Russell in the quarterfinals, broke Mahut in the ninth point of the tiebreaker and held serve to take a tough first set. “The first tiebreaker is so big,” Roddick said. “Theres not much between you, and whoever loses it has a long road (back). I was fortunate to get up on that one.” Russell, at 34, is the oldest player in the main draw, but he outlasted No. 5 seed Kevin Anderson of South Africa 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4 to reach his first ATP World Tour hard-court quarterfinals since February 2011. No. 8 seed Go Soeda of Japan beat Russias Igor Kunitsyn 6-1, 7-5. Their match began at 4 p.m., but when the rain hit 25 minutes later, the order of play was changed. Soeda and Kunitsyn had to wait 7 1/2 hours for Russell and Anderson to finish before their match could restart. Soeda led the first set 3-0 before play was stopped. The match, which lasted 1 hour, 31 minutes, ended at 1:28 a.m. No. 3 seed Kei Nishikori of Japan held off Lithuanias Ricardas Berankis 6-4, 6-7 (7), 6-4 in a match that ended at 1:47 a.m. Roddicks victory avenged a four-set loss to Maahut at the French Open on May 27. Haloti Ngata Jersey. It was Roddicks earliest exit from a Grand Slam tournament since 2007 and his first loss to Mahut in five career matches. “I thought about it a little bit, but the conditions are so different,” Roddick said. “Im not real comfortable on clay. I dont think thats a secret. Obviously coming back here on home turf on a surface Im very comfortable on is just a different scenario.” No. 1 seed John Isner and No. 2 seed Mardy Fish, Atlantas two-time defending champion, will play their second-round matches on Thursday. Though Roddick didnt have to wait nearly as long as some of the players to get on the court, the damp conditions were hardly to his liking. He and Mahut occasionally slipped as they tried to reach for shots. “I expressed my concern,” Roddick said. “It was heard by the supervisor. He agreed with my sentiment and told me to play on.” Russell and Anderson began their match at 4 p.m., but they had to wait nearly five hours before resuming. In the tiebreaker, Anderson held serve to take the 11th point and broke Russell to win the first set. Russell, though, held his composure to avenge a loss to Anderson in Atlanta last year. Isner will face Ruben Bemelmans of Belgium in the last singles match on Thursday. Fish will play Luxembourgs Gilles Muller in the second afternoon match. The other two matches will feature James Blake against Matthew Ebden of Australia and Steve Johnson against Jack Sock. Both were both wild-card entries. ’ ’ ’
