I am sure just like all the other hopefully calendar watching BugBase pre-orderers that the update in the BugLabs Store is a bit of a surprise.

Do we have to wait to the end of May now to get out BugBundles, or do the people who order from this point have to wait til’ the end of May?

Wow, quick catch there Ben! We’ll be talking about this with details a bit later in the day, but this is for the next batch of orders. We are beginning to fulfill the first batch starting today! I can’t promise yours individually will ship out today yet as I don’t have access to individual order details right now, but they are starting to trickle out.

We’ll have some more news, blog posts, Web site updates, etc, a little later in the day!

Seeing as how my order was placed at the beginning of April, it makes sense that I’m in the next batch, and 6-8 weeks is a more than acceptable timeframe… one question though… any idea WHEN in May the next set will ship? Not to put too fine a point on it, but I wouldn’t mind showing my Bug off at Wizard World Philadelphia on May 30th-June 1st.

Lots of geekiness will be happening there, eh? eh? hint-hint pokes with fine-tipped hint-stick

Has anyone gotten there Bug yet?? I placed my order in the morning on the first day you could order on the website and I don’t have one yet, I would expect I would be in the first batch??

Nope not yet, i heard through the grapevine near mid month, which is rather soon.

I just got an email that mine has shipped.

I’m perturbed that there have been no new messages since April. I ordered my Hiro P back on 24th January and no sign yet of its being shipped. When? When?

Our apologies for making you wait so long. It took us longer than we had expected to get our production up to the standards we were comfortable with. And, the last thing we wanted to do was to have you wait, and then follow that up with sending you a temperamental product! If you can hang in there a little bit longer, we are finally over the major hurdles, and we expect all orders that were placed in January, and probably many of those placed in February and early March too, to ship by the end of May.

Thank you so much for being an early customer of ours, and thanks for bearing with us through the early days. We believe that we’ve built a product you’ll be happy with and are glad to have you with us!

Thanks for the update. I’ll try to exercise what may be my only virtue and be patient.

Based on some blogs, it looks like some more units were shipped recently. Would it be possible to post an update on where you are with regards to filling orders (by date of order placed or by order nuber, assuming they are numerically in order).

Hi Che,

Just to give another update, we have indeed been shipping orders out, lots of them! Right now, it looks like we’ll be finished shipping most of the pre-orders (those who ordered before March 17) by the first or second week in June, so within the next few weeks. Then, there should be a whole bunch more, our late March and some of our April orders, going out after that, starting around the end of June. Orders placed in May are at this time not likely to go out before July.

It’s still hard to give exact dates right now, but that should give you a general idea of where we are. Thanks for hanging in there, everyone! Your loyalty is much appreciated!
